Prep for wedding day hair!

Hey bridal beauties!

This blog is going to be about prep before wedding hair. Of course we want to look as flawless as we can on our wedding day and want healthy shiny looking hair. These are some products you can splurge on at least 4 months before your wedding to really transform the shine of your hair and looking healthy. Each section I will post a affordable, middle price, and expensive products for a wider range for everyone. These are the best ways to repair your hair.

  1. First things first are you using a heat protectant on your hair before you blow dry or use any hot tools? If yes, skip to next. If not just know that using a heat protectant really makes a big difference in your hair becoming healthier looking and shiny. The products are going to protect your hair from damaging from all the heat you use on it. So here are my top suggestions:

By doing this you will let your hair rest from all the products you use and give your hair its natural oils back. But by doing this your hair can look really greasy and that’s not fun. So using a dry shampoo is the best way to go on the days you don’t wash your hair. It absorbs the oils and makes your hair look clean and not feel greasy either. Here are three different ways to do just that.

  1. Baby powder: Yup, baby powder is just not for your babies butt. Sprinkle lightly all over the roots of your head (do a little at a time) and rub into scalp and roots of hair until the white disappears and style as normal. Works amazing!
  2. Tresemme dry shampoo: I’ve seen lots of people use this! It’s a very inexpensive dry shampoo and you apply it just like the baby powder.
  3. Full Detox™ Rub-Out™ Dry Cleansing Spray: Obviously a bit more expensive but overall a rave of a lot of people! I personally haven’t tried it but I trust those that love it! It’s about $24 at Sephora!
