Healthy Stuffed Red Bell Peppers

This is a fantastic recipe that I literally made last night for my husband and I and we LOVED it.

What you will need: Ground turkey, mushrooms, onion, garlic, and fresh or dried basil, and red bell peppers, with ur favorite cheese!



Pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees and take your red bell peppers and slice off the the tops of them and gut them out completely. Shred your cheese about 2-3 cups. In a pan start cooking the ground turkey, toss in mushrooms, basil, chopped garlic and chopped onion and your favorite seasoning or Mrs Dash! When the turkey is fully cooked *turns grey*

Take your bell pepper and put a little amount of cheese to cover the whole bottom of the bell pepper. Then add a layer on top of the cheese with the ground turkey mix and sprinkle more basil on that and repeat these steps until it’s filled to the top. Then garnish the top with chopped up pieces of the left over pieces of the red bell pepper tops.

Put in oven for 20 minutes and ENJOY! so yummy!
