This is so cool! If you haven’t checked out Lauren Conrads official website you guys should totally go and see all the amazing and fun stuff she has on there. She posted this blog about her top foods that will help you with getting or keeping a flat belly. Obviously to get rid of belly fat it is not just eating right alone, you have to work out your whole body (cardio) to take it off! But in the process of working on putting these foods in your diet will help you out a lot.

  • Raspberries (as well as strawberries and blueberries) are packed with fiber, which keeps you feeling full longer (and—ahem—more regular). Plus they are packed with vitamin C, which is good for your immune system as well as your skin.
  • Kale is a natural anti-inflammatory; it helps reduce bloat and it also revs up the metabolism because it is a flavonoid. Eat up!
  • Oatmeal maintains blood sugar levels so you don’t crash and binge. Plus it’s full of fiber so it will keep you satiated.

Your body shape + your wedding dress

Hi beauties, so when finding your wedding dress you want to find the perfect fit for your day. Understanding your body type and body shape is important when finding a wedding dress. I realized myself that I have always wanted to wear a big princess ball gown…but I quickly found out that I am way too short to wear that big of a gown and I get buried into it! But that didn’t stop my dream of the perfect dress and I ended up finding the perfect dress! and so I want to give props for realsimple.com they have made a really awesome post about finding the best wedding dress. If You’re Pear-Shaped

Look for: A skirt that gradually flares out in an A formation from the natural waist to the floor, highlighting the narrowness of the midsection and floating away from the hips and thighs. (Sturdier fabrics, such as duchesse satin and taffeta, are especially effective, since they won’t cling.) A spaghetti-strap bodice or a V neckline will also showcase a more slender upper body.

If You’re Busty

Look for: A dress with a scooped neckline. It will open up your face and display your décolletage without showing too much cleavage. If you love the look of strapless gowns, choose one that has a slight dip along the neckline, like a sweetheart, rather than a style that goes straight across (which will make your bust appear even larger and more shelflike).

If You’re Plus-Sized

Look for: An Empire dress with a skirt that begins just under the bust and flows into a gradual floor-length A-line. Make sure the Empire seam does not start on the chest and that there is no pleating of the fabric, which is reminiscent of maternity wear. The dress should play up your shape; if it’s too loose, it will add pounds.

If You’re Apple-Shaped

Look for: A dress that cinches in at the smallest point on the waistline, then flares out into a gradual A shape. Opt for a bodice with a lot of texture to it―think ruche or lace detailing―that will camouflage and fit snugly, creating a corsetlike effect. The most slenderizing neckline for you is one with a deep V, which will draw eyes toward the vertical, not the horizontal.

If You’re Tall

Look for: A simple silhouette. The strategy is to emphasize your natural shape, so every aspect of the dress―the lower waistline, a floor-sweeping hem―needs to reflect your longer proportions. If you’re wearing long sleeves, they should go past the wrist. You don’t want to look as if you’ve borrowed a gown from someone shorter than you.

DIY sugar body scrub

Well summer is here and it’s time for wearing cute shorts! And of course you are going to get your legs nice and smooth and pretty! Here is my own homemade recipe to exfoliate your legs. Use this from the top of your thighs all the way down to your toes. Don’t use on face for this is too harsh of a scrub. You want to do this scrub at least 2 times a week for healthy looking legs.

WHAT YOU NEED:

INSTRUCTIONS:

Take all these ingredients and mix them together with a little bit of water and go to the tub or outside and scrub it all over your legs! Front and back to upper thigh to feet. Let sit on for at least 2 minutes to sink in then wash off. Now take some coconut oil or a very thick lotion and rub it into your skin! Best results do this right before bed so you sleep with the coconut oil or lotion to soak in your body.
