Take Biotin Supplements for great health benefits!

Biotin is an amazing supplement to help over health an even skin an nails.  If you suffer from a Biotin deficiency, you will typically experience hair loss and brittle nails, and taking supplements of this vitamin may help to halt this process. Biotin is essential for your metabolic process. This vitamin processes nearly every type of food that you ingest, including carbohydrates, protein and fat. When biotin levels are at the proper levels in your body, the food that you take in will be processed quickly. Biotin plays a major role in your blood glucose production. Garlic, Olive oil, & Raw Honey FACE mask!

Well, this is a GREAT face mask that I just tried and made up earlier this week. I have been reading up so much on garlic and all of its health benefits. So this mask contains garlic which is a powerful

Antioxidant that is supposed to help the skin repair acne and acne scars and prevent breakouts. The olive oil is the moisturizer in this mix and do I really need to explain? The fatty acids in here are great not just for your

skin but hair and nails. And honey is a good moisturizer as well but also a nice exfoliate. All of these ingredients are great for calming the skin, making it soft and fighting bacteria. I used minced garlic or you can use regular gloved garlic.

Garlic cloves or minced garlic

2 table spoons olive oil

1 ½ table spoons raw honey or regular honey

Take all ingredients and mix them together in a blender or food processor. When all mixed up pour into a small container so that you can put the remaining of the face mask in the fridge for the next day.

Make sure your face is clean and washed, free of makeup! Then go ahead and apply this mixture all over your face in a nice circular motion around the face. Don’t press too hard if you are using raw honey because of the little sand

Like texture will bother your skin. Leave it on for 15-20 minutes, but please friends NO MORE than 25 minutes because garlic is a really strong antioxidant and it can burn the skin. If you start to noticed burning anytime under 25 minutes then

Please don’t use this method and wash it off right away. After you wash it off with warm water, pat dry your face and feel how smooth your face feels. But on your favorite moisturizer or a lil tiny bit of olive oil for extra softness and hydration.

Bodycology – LOVE

One of my favorite body lotions is most def Bodycology! Oh my word the smells they have are divine and the creamy texture is amazing. They have so many different scents that are so true to the scent they call it. My current FAVORITE is their newest scent called “Cloud nine” oh my word, this stuff smells like a bit of heaven. It’s packed with moisturizing Aloe Vera, Shea Butter and Nourishing Vitamins E & C. Not to mention the PACKAGING is the most adorable thing I have ever seen, it’s so perfect for summer. I found a full size bottle of it at Target and got it because it makes your skin feel so soft and hydrated. This is the best lotion to put all over your body like right after you exfoliate your whole body just before bed. Simply amazing, you guys have to try it out! They have small sample sizes at Target for like $1.49. There’s a melon smell that is also way too amazing to be lotion!

What they say:

Cucumber relaxing eye and face mask!

Oh the joys of relaxing and unwinding from a hard day at work or school. Don’t you know you deserve to just relax and enjoy yourself and to treat your skin? Here’s a great way to take away some of that stress with a cold cucumber eye and face mask. This leaves the skin refreshed and leaving you relaxed and calm.

What you need:

4 cucumber slices

Plastic Zip lock bag

Slice thin slices of the cucumber (4) and place them in a zip lock bag and put them in the freezer for around 10 minutes. Then go ahead and clean your face with your morning routine face wash. After the 10 minutes is up take the baggy out of the freezer and take two of the cucumbers and place them on your eyes (eyes closed) for 10 minutes…it’s okay to lift them up every once in awhile in case it’s super cold! Then when they start to thaw out put them right under your eyes and set for 10 minutes. Now take the other two from the baggy and rub them all over your face for 3-4 minutes….really massaging it into the skin – throw away the cucumbers and leave the cucumber juice on your face for at least 30 minutes. Your face will start to tighten up and just feel amazing and refreshed. Then gently wash it off and apply your favorite moisturizer.

Do this at least 2x a week.

Cucumber is so good for your body when you consume it and when you put it on your face. Cucumber is known to really whiten your face (which can help with redness/acne scaring) and softening the skin. Cucumbers are like 96% water so it is really hydrating for your face and eyes. It also contains vitamins A, B & C! These vitamins really help the skin to reduce redness and puffy ness under the eyes.

Prevent Wrinkles!

Whether you are in your early 20s, truckin into your 30’s or mature in your 40s plus it’s good to start focusing on your skin to prevent wrinkles. Of course all of us want to look as great and healthy as we can as we age. So knowing the right tools to do that is key. Here is a few tips and suggestion of products that will do just that.

I am totally guilty lately of not getting enough sleep. But sleep is SO important for your body to repair itself! Letting your body rest and to restore itself in the proper time is so important not just for preventing wrinkles but your overall health. As an adult we need at least 7-8 hours of peaceful sleep, not interrupted. So, don’t drink a lot of liquid before you go to bed. Making sure your bed is super comfy and colors that make you fall asleep faster. Usually going to bed around 9:30-10 would be good to start.

Well, this should be a no brain-er If you are out in the sun or even when it’s cloudy out you still need sunscreen on your body and face. You face is so delicate and needs some protection from those sun rays! So, try putting sunscreen on your body and getting a really good moisturizer with a good spf! Like Aveeno SPF 15 moisturizer!

Getting a good wrinkle cream is always a great way to go. Getting one that’s great for the day time and a deeper cream for the night when you sleep. Of course remember if you use a day wrinkle cream it makes your skin more sensitive to the sun so you can’t forgot the sunscreen/spf moisturizer. Ponds is a new one I found that really like so far, another good one is by the brand ROC !

This old trick is known to reduce aging in the skin and wrinkles by %50. My sister told me about it and I had to do more research, I thought it was a great idea. Silk is so soothing on the skin and your face doesn’t scrunch up when sleeping on it. Of course beware because silk is a bit slippery and you could slide around or off. On regular cotton “pressure from side sleeping causes the skin to wrinkle in the nasal-labial fold, which is the line than runs from the nose to the mouth.”

“By moving your body regularly and keeping your blood pumping, you’ll be supplying your skin with nourishment (your skin’s main source of nourishment is provided by your bloodstream) because exercising enhances the circulation process and sends blood to your skin. This is extremely helpful in preventing those dreaded wrinkles. That’s right! You can walk, jog, swim, bike—whatever sport or movement you personally enjoy—just get moving!”

Water = Hydration = More Supple Skin:
“Always be sure to drink enough water—especially ionized water. By giving your body what it’s truly thirsting for, you’re not only drinking water, you’re hydrating your body.  It’s common sense, really. If your body is dehydrated, your skin will be, too. Not only that, but by flushing your system with water, you’ll be eliminating pesky toxins and going the extra mile to prevent wrinkles from forming!”

Antioxidants help your body defend against free radicals. Combat wrinkles by eating foods and drinking beverages that contain antioxidants (pomegranates, acai, blueberries, green tea) and using creams or moisturizers that contain them.

Coffee & Milk for your face anyone?

Hey beauties, well this is a mask I have tried before and found a easy to follow by recipe from a cool website I like called get is pure? lol. This is a great exfoliate for your face and coffee has antioxidants in it and the milk is soothing to the skin. Everybody loves a good calming mask to put on after a hard days work! Give this puppy a try.

  • 3 tablespoons of used finely ground coffee
  • A small glass of milk

  1. Add the used finely ground coffee into a bowl.
  2. Stir in the milk until well blended and it will be a thick texture.
  3. Try not to make the paste too diluted or it’ll be runny and it’s gonna be messy.
  4. If the mixture becomes too runny, simply add a little more coffee into it.
  5. Apply the paste onto your face and smooth it out all over your face. Avoid eyes and lips.
  6. Slowly massage the mixture to your skin.
  7. Then relax for 20 minutes.
  8. While washing off the mask, slowly massage the paste to your skin. It acts further as an exfoliator. Don’t massage too hard if you have sensitive skin.
  9. Pat your face dry.
  10. Apply moisturizer while your skin is still damp to seal in the moisture.

(Remember not to scrub your skin too hard with the coffee grounds though.)
