Party buffets? Great way to save money!

So if you love entertaining friends and family like I do you are going to want to host a lot of parties at your home! Of course after a while this can get pricey and pushy to your wallet. Well not every dinner has to be over the top but try something fun and different that causes people to interact with each other and have fun while doing it. Such as a buffet style of food for your guests. My favorite places to go for bulk is Costco and Sams Club! You can buy bulk of stuff and save lots of money. And let the party be themed! Such as “Taco Night” “Nacho Night” “BYOB which is build your own burger or any kind of food. Best part about a buffet have everyone bring some kind of side dish! Like if its nacho night have everyone bring a topping and you buy the cheese and chips! This is so much fun to do and you save money!

Here’s a pic for pizza night. Have everyone buy a different pizza and bring it OR you can make your own dough and sauce and everyone brings different toppings and you make your own pizza. And of course just make a big salad for a side for everyone!

This BYOB build your own burger is so much fun! Just buy patties and buns in bulk at costco and have everyone bring toppings and condiments. This is really fun to do. Also you can have side dishes available such as a potato salad, salad, buy in bulk french fries. Once again Costco!

Next on the list is a Mexican night or taco/burrito night! Have everyone bring some rice, beans, sour cream, anything that would be great for Mexican food. Than have taco shells and tortillas ready for everyone.

Literally my FAVORITE buffet for dinner parties is NACHO night! Omg, I love nachos like non other. You can go to costco buy a big bag of chips ($3) then buy their nacho cheese ($9.99) and have everyone bring toppings to go on top of the nachos! Simply amazing and so much fun.

My sister has done this for her birthday party once and this is fun to do as well. It’s like a DIY dessert table and it could be anything. Build your own cookie, smore, cake, whatever you can think of this is so much fun once again.Or you can have all different kinds of treats and have people bring little cupcakes, candy, chocolates, etc.

Black Bean Brownies (GLUTEN FREE? yes, please)

These are GLUTEN FREE my friends and I am so excited to try these, they are literally baking in the oven right now. Gluten free means it’s free of a wheat protein. And not to mention these brownies have loads of protein because of the black beans! I just sneaked a piece of it and it tastes AMAZING! I am also uploading to Youtube for all of you to watch. It’s like a protein bar but brownie style! Full of protein!

HOW TOL

15oz can black beans (drained and rinsed)

4 eggs large

1/2 cup cocoa powder unsweetened

1 tablespoon vanilla

6 tablespoons of butter

1/2 tsp sea salt

1 1/2 cup brown sugar

1 tsp baking powder (check to make sure it is gluten free, some baking powders may contain gluten)

1/2 tsp baking soda (check to make sure does not contain gluten)

Preheat oven to 325 ‘ F Place baking cup liners in to muffin tin, spray with oil. In blender or food processor, place all ingredients and blend/liquify until smooth and silky. Pour batter into muffin tin 3/4 ths full. Place in oven and bake for 27 min or until center is fully cooked! Bake until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with only a few moist crumbs.

Enjoy,

Make your own fresh cold tea!

Since it is summer it is always good to get a fun lightly sweet natural tea. Boil water in a big pot and have the water filled all the way to the top. After the water is all boiled drop in 3 or 4 different flavors of tea and let it sit on low for 20 minutes to really soak in the flavor. Add half a cup of all natural raw honey and stir in. Then after it cools off place it into a pitcher with blueberries or raspberries to float down to the bottom. Let sit in the fridge for a few hours until cold and pour over ice. This is a healthy and naturally sweet tea with low low calories!
